About
The Alchemy Institute is here to help you or your loved ones with mental health care. We offer virtual psychiatric services across North Carolina, so you can get the support you need from home. We work with adults and children (ages 6 and up) who are dealing with different mental health challenges.
Our approach mixes medical expertise with practical, holistic care so you get the right tools and treatments for real life. We start with a thorough 90-minute assessment so your story gets time and attention. We provide medication management and supportive therapy during follow-up visits.
We also offer ADHD evaluation and diagnosis. We offer metabolic and functional psychiatry, lab testing, and optional pharmacogenetic testing. This testing helps us choose safer and more effective medicines. We also include holistic recommendations and complementary approaches.

Your mind is the silent fire that warms every part of your life. It shapes how you move through stress, how you connect with others, and how you make choices on the path ahead.
Like the body, the mind needs care, attention, and moments of stillness. When your inner world is tended to, you walk through challenges with steadier feet. You speak with more kindness, see with more clarity, and find joy in the small moments, the morning light, a shared laugh, the quiet between thoughts.
Mental health is not a sign of weakness or strength. It is simply part of being human. Nourish it as you would a growing plant, with patience, light, and care, and you will find yourself more rooted, more present, and more alive.

The reason I became a psychiatric provider isn't just because I studied or found the brain fascinating. It’s because I’ve lived through the pain, the confusion, and the silence that so often surround mental health and addiction.

I grew up witnessing the struggles of addiction and mental illness in my own family. My teenage years were difficult, filled with my own battles and questions I didn’t always have answers for. My father lost his life to an overdose. My brother, who I loved deeply, died by suicide. These losses shaped me profoundly, they left scars, yes, but also a burning drive to understand, to heal, and to help others find a way through.

I know what it's like to feel broken, to feel helpless, and to feel like no one understands. And that’s exactly why I sit across from you, not to judge, not to fix you, but to walk with you. To let you know that you are not alone. That your story matters. That healing is possible, even when it doesn't feel that way.

This work is personal to me. Every person I meet reminds me why I chose this path, to honor those I’ve lost, to support those who are still here, and to be the kind of person I wish my family had.
